Disney Wish Cruise
Nassau Bahamas & Disney Castaway Cay 2024
We found Disney Cruise to be the best parts of Disney wrapped into one. The food, character experiences, Disney shows, parties, water slides, entertainment, and so much more. Our two stops at Nassau and Disney Castaway were spectacular. I was really impressed with Castaway. The beach was so serene and waters were calm, making me comofrtable with my boys swimming freely in the ocean. The inclusive BBQ on the island was amazing and had all of my favorite foods from the ship. We all enjoyed ourselves so much and all agree that our Disney Cruise trip was a 10 out of 10.
To get the best pricing available, book early. From my experience, Disney Cruise Line does not offer many discounts or even military rates. Your best bet for a discounted cruise is to book early, a year in advance even, when rates are the lowest.

Tid Bits
-Character Meet and Greets
The lines for character meet and greets can be quite lengthy. I'd say, even comparably to the lines at the parks for character meet and greets. The character interactions are more personal compared to the meets at the parks. They will take time to get to know you and your child, ask questions about interests, and even play tricks on kiddos. From our experience, people would start lining up for the characters about 10-15 minutes before the time the characters were scheduled to arrive. One of the best ways to catch the characters is on the day at Castaway. Most of the characters, minus the avenger super heroes, are out on the beach for phot ops the morning of arrivals until around noon.
-The Food
We loved the food overall and were able to find food options we all enjoyed.
The breakfast at each restaurant is the same as breakfast on the food on Deck 11. You will save time going to deck 11 for a quicker service rather than dinning at one of the rotational restaurants for breakfast each morning.
Our favorite places to eat were Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, Mickey's Smokehouse BBQ, Daisy's Pizza Pies, Minnie's Ice Cream all on Deck 11. We loved the ambiance at 1923, the atmosphere and overall experience at Worlds of Marvel and Arendelle, however, the food did not compare to Deck 11 food options. The desserts and sweets at each of the 3 rotational restaurants was great and I would also suggest trying the drinks of the day and drink trios from each restaurant.
Room service was underwhelming. I wouldn't suggest it unless you want a relaxing moment in the stateroom and rather not travel up to Deck 11. They do bring drinks, teas, coffees as well which we utilized.
-Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge
Bring the kiddos to the Star Wars Lounge daily before 9pm for a fun time. After 9pm, the lounge is for adults only.
