For our Disneyland vacation, we decided to stay in a nearby hotel instead of at one of the 3 Disney resorts. Staying offsite saved us over a thousand dollars for a 5 day stay. Yep.

The Cortona is located right down the street from Disneyland. Its within a mile or 2, and would take you maybe 10 minutes to walk to the gates. We walked and took Ubers, the Uber ride costing a whopping $5 one way. We got the bunkbed suite, which they call the One Bedroom Tuscana Kids Suite. The room was spacious and offered separate sleeping areas. Our boys loved the bunk beds of course. Remember, still costing more than a thousand less compared to a 2 queen bed hotel room onsite at Disneyland.

Goofy's Kitchen

We decided to head over to Goofy's Kitchen for a character dinner. It's worth noting that this character dinning is located outside of the park at Disneyland Hotel. It was a short walk from the park. This character dinning experience was the most lively of the 3 we experienced during our trip. The characters were more lively and we enjoyed the food here as well.

Pym Test Kitchen restaurant. Okay, its very pricy, but you absolutely have to eat here. The food presentation is very cool and the taste is pretty good as well. Opt to dine outside and you can eat while resting your feet and watch the character appearances at the Avenger's base across the way.

Spider-Man Webslingers Ride: A must do. The line is difficult to navigate because its long at all times of the day. Either way, this ride is a must. You can purchase a web shooter type device from the surrounding gift shops and this web shooter is compatible with the ride. It helps you to get more points from my understanding.

We love California Adventure Park. We enjoyed the attractions here much better than Disneyland. I do have boys who are Avengers, Disney Cars, and Incredibles fanatics, so this park would make more sense for our preferences,

Don't miss out on Dr Strange, the Wakandan Warriors, the Gardians of the Galaxy, and of Spider-Man perforamnces/shows throughout the day.

We really enjoyed our time at the Disneyland Park. Because Jayden and Christian are big Avenger fans, we preferred the CA Adventure Park section over Disneyland. I will say the biggest highlight of our time at Disneyland was watching the evening show at the castle.
