Great Wolf Lodge
Poconos, PA 2023
Great Wolf Lodge is a nice family resort good for a short stay. If you stay more than a day or two, fair warning it will get quite pricey. You have the option of staying at the resort (which will include access to the waterpark) or purchasing the day pass without staying at the resort. We stayed in the most basic room they have, the Family Suite. It was a nice room with a semi-separated living room area and a semi-private balcony. During our stay, the resort was under renovation, so stay tuned to see what enhancements and additions they are working on. If you wait unit there's a sale, you get this room for a little over $250 a night (waterpark access included).
Tid Bits
The Great Wolf Lodge was a great weekend getaway. One thing to keep in mind in that this is not an
all-inclusive resort. You will need to budget for food, activities, games. And the resort is quite expensive. You can click the links below for more info.
Things to do:
The Ten Paw Bowling Alley (around $7 per round)
-Howl at the Moon Mini Golf (around $6 per game)
Arcade
-Northern Lights arcade
-A unique activity where you get a magic wand and can go on a quest to interactive zones in the hallways leading to the rooms on each of the floors.
Also enjoy extras such as gift shop shopping, Build-A-Bear, and free arts & craft activities in main lobby,
Great Wolf Lodge
Fitchburg, MA 2021
In comparison to the Poconos Great Wolf Lodge, I'd say Fitchburg is not quite as nice. Food, waterpark, room options and pricing... there's no comparison. However, the Fitchburg GWL does have more attractions and activities compared to the Poconos. You will have the option of staying at the resort (which will include access to the waterpark) or purchasing the day pass without staying at the resort. We stayed in the Junior Cabin Suite which was a nice cabin themed room with a bunk bed, a single bed, and a pull out sofa in the sitting room area. The hotel cost us about $723 for one night for a family of 4 (December 2021). The day pass prices vary depending on dates visited and can range from $50 per person and up.
