Niagara Falls
Ontario Canada 2022

This was our second trip to Niagara Falls and we decided to stay at Hilton Niagara Falls Hotel both trips. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Deluxe Suite US/Canadian Fallsview. A point of confusion for us was the difference between the "2 Bedroom Deluxe Suite US/Canadian" and the "2 Bedroom Deluxe Suite Premium US/Canadian".

The room types and sizes are the same, the deluxe however is located from floors 22-32, while deluxe premium will be the 33-49th floor. The deluxe premium rooms will have a more panoramic view, meanwhile the deluxe will give give you better views of the fireworks if you are planning to visit during a time the fireworks are displayed. Anything above floor 33, you will essentially be looking down at the fireworks. Our floor was the 32nd.

Watermark Restaurant

Watermark is the only restaurant directly in the Hilton offering breakfast aside from Starbucks in the lobby (and IHOP in an adjoining building). Watermark also offers dinner and is located on 33rd floor for gorgeous views of the US and Canadian Falls. Perfect for the nighttime lights shows and the evening fireworks.  The breakfast was good and the same selection was also offered for room service at an additional price. We had a French Toast meal, a Classic Breakfast, and two French Toast children's meals, which totaled to just over $100 CAD including gratuities. â€‹

Tid Bits

- Deciding Between the US or Canada

We have only visited Canadian side because of the views. Both falls face Canada, so the US side is essentially behind the falls, while the Canadian side is in front of the falls.

-Hilton Hotel

We love the Hilton because of its location, the conveniences of restaurants & activities within the hotel, and of course the views.  It took us about 10 minutes to walk from our hotel down to the falls, On the way back to the hotel, we took the railway for a fee of around $3 per person.  There are several restaurants, shops, the casino, and even a fun zone (arcade, mini golf, haunted houses, mirror mazes, etc) all either in the hotel or attached to the hotel by covered walkways.

The views. The hotel is perfectly positions for gorgeous views of both falls.  The fitness center, infinity pool, Watermark restaurant, and many of the rooms have the gorgeous views.

-Things To Do
In the few blocks surrounding Victoria Ave and Clifton Hill, there are numerous attractions for families and children. Ripley's Believe It Or Not!, Wax Museums, Niagara Sky Wheel, Mini Golf, Arcades, etc. We decided to race on the Speedway and it was so much fun. We also did the Niagara Freefall, which was very outdated.
